Description

This fragrance doesn't merely evoke rainfall but captures that precise transitional moment when a summer afternoon darkens dramatically and a summer storm begins.

The initial impression hits with unmistakable petrichor—that mineralized scent of raindrops striking hot pavement during summer's first storm. Sharp bergamot adds brief citrus brightness like lightning flashes, while leafy green and basil notes contribute the smell of wind-tossed garden herbs moments before rainfall.

Sandalwood provides subtle warmth—reminiscent of distant thunder—while indolic jasmine suggests the heavy, electric atmosphere that precedes a downpour.

The complex base delivers remarkable staying power through six perfectly balanced notes. Musk and patchouli recreate damp earth, cedarwood and vetiver add woodiness like rain-soaked fence posts, while amber and orangeflower contribute an unexpected warmth—that peculiar sweetness in the air after rain when sunlight returns.

Personal favorite

This is one of my all-time favorite fragrance oils to date. And I've smelled thousands of oils. It's not only exquisitely constructed but it has a powerful, lasting hot throw both refreshing and inspiring.

Very partial to it myself. Its a unique one.Something calming and pleasant about it!

Surprised!

I made wax melts out of my two ounce bottle, and upon first whiff, it was pretty mild, surprisingly. Once the wax melt cooled down, and I packaged it, I was sold, it was refreshing and smooth. I really like the name and the way the notes carry. It’s a beautiful scent, I used the color of blue, and a drop of black. Beautiful color and scent throws.

The one I've been waiting for!!!

This is the one oil I CAN'T get enough of! Love, love, love!!! It's a perfect balance of green, sweet floral, & warm rain. Relaxing & invigorating at the same time. Strong cold & hot throw in Maker's Blend 100 (Parasoy 48/52%). Can't wait to have this one incorporated into my collection. Will likely sell well year round.

One of my personal favorites too. Unusual, hard to explain. Probably a bit polarizing... but i love it! Its intriguing! Thanks for the feedback Carol!
