THE PISTACHIO BAKLAVA

You magnificent geniuses. You achieved something I never thought I’d experience in a dessert scented candle. You made a pastry FO that smells like the sum of its parts instead of way too much vanillin and a headache-inducing butter cloud. My first impression OOB was disappointing. Even the cold throw made me think I’d wasted a test candle with another version of generic cake batter. I was wrong and I’m sorry. I’m sorry for not having faith in BTB to hit crunchy toasted pistachio and golden honey soaked phyllo right out of the park. I’m sorry for doubting The Pistachio Baklava’s complexity, the subtle notes of cinnamon and orange flower water layered into every imaginary, crispy bite of syrupy Mediterranean heaven. Am I smelling something that isn’t there? Maybe. Or Maybe the top notes are so perfectly realistic that my brain fills in the rest of this familiar dessert when I light this candle. No artificial vanilla sweetness here, just toasted earthy nuts and honey in the hot throw.

Nutty & Sweet! We use this along with The Bandit from BTB and a couple other fragrances from another supplier and its one of the favorites. Would be solid on its own as well.
