Description

Black Tie Barn Room, Linen & Body Spray Base lets you build a coordinated scent collection from one versatile, unscented base. Create a room spray for an instant refresh, a linen mist for everyday comforts, or a personal body spray featuring a fragrance you love.

The alcohol-based formula blends easily with compatible fragrance oils and dries quickly. No separate solubilizer is typically needed, making it a practical addition to your workbench whether you’re experimenting with a few bottles or expanding an established product line.

Pair a spray with a matching candle, build a gift set, or give a customer favorite a new use. One base opens the door to several finished products—each formulated and tested for its intended application.

Instructions & Usage

1. Decide whether you’re making a room spray, linen spray, or body spray. Check properties above for max usage %. Also, check your fragrance oil’s current IFRA certificate for that specific use.

2. Choose a fragrance percentage within both the base’s limit and the fragrance’s applicable IFRA limit. Use whichever limit is lower.

3. Weigh the base and fragrance separately, calculating fragrance as a percentage of the total finished batch.

4. Add fragrance to the base and mix slowly until evenly blended.

5. Keep covered and allow the blend to settle for 24 hours before bottling.

6. Check for clarity, separation, scent, and spray performance. Bottle in compatible spray packaging once testing is complete.

* Example: For a 100 g test batch at 5% fragrance, combine 95 g of base with 5 g of fragrance oil, provided that percentage is permitted for the intended use.

* Test every fragrance before scaling up.
* For linen sprays, test the finished formula on a small, hidden area of the intended fabric for staining or discoloration. A formula suitable for room use is not automatically suitable for skin use.

* Handling: For external use only. Avoid eyes and face. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Store tightly closed and out of reach of children.
