Black Tie Barn Perfume Base makes it easy to turn your favorite suitable fragrance oils into custom perfumes and colognes. This unscented, alcohol-based formula gives you a ready-to-blend starting point, with a lightweight feel and fast-drying finish.

Create something bold, something understated, or the scent your customers ask for by name. With support for fragrance loads up to 25%, you have room to explore different concentrations and develop a finished product that fits your collection.

Whether you’re making your first personal fragrance or adding a new category to your business, the process is straightforward: choose your fragrance, blend, allow it to rest, and test.

Instructions & Usage

1. Choose a fragrance oil suitable for perfume use. Review its current IFRA certificate for the intended application.
2. Select your fragrance percentage without exceeding 25% or the fragrance’s applicable IFRA limit, whichever is lower.
3. Weigh your base and fragrance separately, calculating fragrance as a percentage of the total finished batch.
4. Add the fragrance to the base and stir slowly until thoroughly combined.
5. Keep the mixture covered and allow it to rest for 48 hours.
6. Check the blend for clarity, separation, scent, and performance before bottling in compatible perfume packaging.

**Example:** For a 100 g test batch at 20% fragrance, combine 80 g of base with 20 g of fragrance oil, provided the fragrance permits that usage rate.

Always test each fragrance before making a larger batch. Maximum fragrance capacity does not guarantee that every oil will remain clear or perform best at that concentration.

**Handling:** For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Store tightly closed and out of reach of children.
