Description

Black Tie Barn Foaming Hand Soap Base makes it simple to create custom hand soaps with a soft, creamy lather. This unscented liquid base is ready to customize and designed specifically for foaming pump dispensers.

Add a compatible fragrance, mix gently, and bottle. No dilution is needed. The lightweight liquid transforms into foam through the dispenser, creating an everyday product that fits naturally into kitchens, bathrooms, gift sets, and coordinated fragrance collections.

Bring a customer favorite beyond the candle jar, build a seasonal soap collection, or keep a bottle of your own signature scent by the sink. It’s a straightforward way to make something people reach for every day.

Instructions & Usage

1. Choose a fragrance oil suitable for liquid hand soap and check its current IFRA certificate for the intended rinse-off application.
2. Use up to 0.5% fragrance, or the fragrance’s applicable IFRA limit if lower.
3. Weigh the base and fragrance separately, calculating fragrance as a percentage of the total finished batch.
4. Add the fragrance and stir gently until fully incorporated. Avoid vigorous mixing or whipping, which introduces excess bubbles.
5. Allow any bubbles to settle, then fill compatible foaming pump bottles. Do not dilute with water.
6. Test the finished soap for separation, scent, and dispenser performance before making a larger batch.

*Example: For a 100 g test batch at 0.5% fragrance, combine 99.5 g of base with 0.5 g of fragrance oil, provided the fragrance permits that usage rate.

*Packaging note: A foaming pump is required to produce foam. A standard liquid-soap pump will dispense the thin liquid without foaming it.

*To use the finished soap: Dispense onto wet hands, lather, and rinse thoroughly.

**Handling:** For external use only. Avoid eye contact. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children.
